Version 1.1 — Last updated: 04/07/2026
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal data related to LAIA – Lamason Assistant IA.
The controller for registration, account, subscription, billing and support data is:
LAMASON AGENCY S.A.S. — CUIT 30-71600146-2 — Email: soporte@lamasonmail.com
In this Policy we use “Lamason”, “we” or the “Provider” to refer to LAMASON AGENCY S.A.S.
This Policy applies to:
It does not govern the independent practices of the stores, platforms or external services connected to LAIA.
With respect to the data needed to create and manage a LAIA account, we act as data controller.
When LAIA processes information belonging to a WooCommerce store, the store or user company remains responsible for its data and for its customers' data.
In those cases, Lamason acts as a technology provider or data processor and processes the information according to the instructions, permissions and settings defined by the user.
The store is responsible for:
Depending on the features used, we may process the following categories of information.
Full card details are processed directly by the payment provider and are not stored by LAIA.
When a feature requires it, LAIA may access:
Access is limited to the information needed to answer a query or execute an authorized function.
We may process:
You should not include personal, confidential or sensitive information that is not necessary for the query.
When a store operates under an agency account (the agency purchases and manages the store's license), that agency can see in its dashboard operational and business information about the store in aggregate form: license and site status, LAIA usage, aggregated sales indicators (totals and trends, without personal data of end customers), LAIA's measured impact and anonymized excerpts of recent conversations with the assistant.
The agency does not access the personal data of the store's end customers through the dashboard. The relationship between the store and its agency is governed by the agreement between them; the store must be informed of this visibility when operating under an agency license.
We use the information to:
We do not sell our users' databases, conversations or business information.
To generate responses, LAIA may send artificial intelligence model providers part of the information needed to handle the query.
We aim to:
Conversations and stores' business data will not be used to train general models of our own or of third parties without the user's express authorization.
The user may rate a response or voluntarily submit feedback about how LAIA works.
When feedback is submitted, we may retain the response, the related query and certain technical information needed to investigate the issue.
Before using that content for analysis or improvement purposes, we will aim to remove or reduce personal information that is not necessary.
Submitting feedback does not authorize the indiscriminate use of all account or store information.
We may share limited information with providers needed to operate LAIA, including services for:
Each provider receives only the information needed to provide its service and is subject to its own contractual and security obligations.
We may also disclose information when there is a legal obligation, a valid request from an authority, or the need to investigate fraud or security incidents.
Some providers may process data outside the Argentine Republic.
Where an international transfer takes place, we will aim to use providers, contracts and mechanisms that offer appropriate privacy, confidentiality and security guarantees in accordance with applicable law.
Depending on the case, we process information on the basis of:
Where processing is based on consent, it may be withdrawn for future uses.
We retain data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described.
In general terms:
When an account is deleted, the data will be erased, anonymized or blocked, except for data we must retain due to legal obligations, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or security.
We apply technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, disclosure or destruction.
These measures may include:
No system connected to the internet can guarantee absolute security. The user is also responsible for protecting their site, devices, credentials and authorized access.
The dashboard may use cookies or similar technologies to:
Strictly necessary cookies are essential for using certain features.
The user can manage cookies from their browser, although disabling some of them may affect how the dashboard works.

We may request reasonable information to verify your identity and prevent fraudulent access.
When the request relates to information stored by a WooCommerce store, you should first contact the relevant store, since that company is the controller of its database. We will cooperate technically with the store when necessary.
Deletion may not apply to information that must be retained due to legal obligations, billing, security, fraud prevention or pending claims.
The Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública (Argentine Agency for Access to Public Information) is the enforcement authority for Law No. 25,326 on Personal Data Protection.
Individuals who consider that their rights were not properly addressed may file a complaint with that body.
LAIA is not designed to routinely process sensitive data, such as health information, biometric data, ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, union membership or information about sexual life.
You should not enter sensitive data unless it is strictly necessary, you have a valid legal basis, and you have adopted adequate protection measures.
LAIA is aimed at companies, professionals and people over 18 years of age.
We do not intentionally collect data from minors for account creation.
Stores that process minors' information are responsible for having the authorizations and protection measures required by applicable law.
We may send communications necessary to:
Promotional communications will include an option to opt out of future messages.
Opting out of promotional messages will not prevent us from sending operational, contractual, security or billing notifications.
We may update this Policy to reflect legal, technical, provider or operational changes.
Relevant changes will be communicated through the dashboard, by email or by prominent publication on this page.
The date of the last update will be shown at the beginning of the document.
